Applesauce Brownies
Delicious and Low Fat
All you need to make these fudgy, chewy, delicious applesauce brownies are:

| Unsweetened chocolate | 2 oz |
| Plain cake flour | 1 cup |
| Cocoa powder | 4 oz |
| Salt | 1 tsp |
| Whole eggs | 2 large |
| Egg whites | 3 large whites |
| Granulated sugar | 1/2 cup |
| Light corn syrup | 1/2 cup |
| Unsweetened applesauce | 1 cup |
| Canola oil | 3 oz |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Tbsp |
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and coat a 9″ x 9″ baking pan with vegetable oil.

- Melt unsweetened chocolate over a bain marie or in a double boiler and set aside.
- Combine cake flour, cocoa powder, salt, and set aside.
- Whisk egg whites and eggs together.

- add sugar, light corn syrup, applesauce, canola oil and vanilla. Stir in melted chocolate.
- Fold in the flour mixture.

- pour into prepared baking pan, and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the center does not move when you jiggle the pan.
- Cool completely in baking pan on wire rack.

- Cut into 2 inch squares, enjoy or store in an airtight container.
