Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies

Chocolate marshmallow cookies are soft, chewy inside and crispy outside. The classic combination of chocolate and marshmallow makes these homemade cookies unforgettable to the palate.

Shaping these cookies would be an enjoyable activity for any youngsters who love baking.

All purpose flour3 cups
Unsweetened cocoa powder2/3 cup
Baking soda½ tsp
A pinch of Salt
Granulated sugar2/3 cup
Light brown sugar, firmly packed½ cup
Unsalted butter, softened1 cup
Eggs2 large
Vanilla extract2 tsp
Miniature semisweet chocolate chips2 cups
Miniature marshmallows, frozen 8 oz.

Some ingredients for marshmallow cookies

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

  • Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    Forming dough
  • Cream granulated and brown sugars with softened butter until well combined. Add egg, vanilla extract, and continue blending until light and fluffy.

  • fold in the flour mixture and chocolate chips to form a rather stiff dough.

  • Take a heaping tablespoon of dough and roughly shape it into a cup. Place 4 or 5 frozen marshmallows in the center, and wrap dough completely around them.

    This recipe yields about 3 dozen irresistible chocolate marshmallow cookies.
